    You’re right. When ever I hear someone say that he or she is the absolute top notch guru in his or her field I immediately turn away because you know that 9 out of ten times they are not telling the truth. You are not the one to say that you’re the absolute best, your customers are. Don’t create your celebrity status by plainly stating that you are one but rather by providing an outstanding product to your costumers. I mean, you didn’t became the go to resource for newsletter marketing because you told everyone you were “the newsletter guru” but because your actually acquired this status with your brilliant products.

    A the beginning of this video you made a key point. You gave examples of people stating that I’m the best at this, and a master of all things great, and so on. This is wrong way to interact with your prospects. Using testimonials from others will be, as Dan Kennedy states, 1,000 more believable. You can’t toot your own horn expecting to impress your clients, have other people do it for you.
