    Hey Jim,
Another Great episode. And yes I’m constantly trying to keep the lights on. Consistency and many modes works best. I’m looking forward to seeing your new Social Media done for you service.

This video was just what I needed because it told me that everything I have been doing so far with my business was wrong, thats a good thing because now you pointed me in the right direction.

Thanks for the video, great as usual. In case you do have to choose though I would go for videos instead of the other options you suggested. Because, and I think you can probably back me up on this Jim, video really has the greatest perceived value of all the options you suggested. I would also advise to make sure you properly integrate all your ways of reaching out with each other. For instance, link your twitter account to your blog page so followers are instantly notified when a new post appears (there is a plugin that does this but I forgot the name) and notify your friends on Facebook when a new video comes out.

Hey, Jim. Great message. I’ve never heard the expression “winking in the dark” but most recently I’ve been talking to business owners about their online presence as well. I’ve used the analogy of a yard sale. A yard sale requires that you put up signs at the intersections of every street in your neighborhood. Then some more signs around the roads surrounding your neighborhood and then even doing a print ad in the local paper. Twelve signs and a print ad pointing to a yard sale will make it exponentially more successful. Most people having a yard sale will take this common sense approach. Yet a majority of business owners fail to see the significance of creating “more signs” pointing to their business.

    Great post Jim –

Using multiple marketing media is a must for all businesses. We call this Integrated Marketing and it includes not only using multiple media like Social Media, Direct Mail, email, online, offline, etc., but also then talking about what you’re doing in those other media in every media. This concept makess all of your marketing stronger and increases results too.
