Going the extra step really does make a difference. We have found that adding that extra little unexpected step makes a big difference. We have tried for years to throw in something extra whether that is a simple pen in the product box, and extra marketing tip in our monthly newsletter, or thank you notes after each order. Our customers really appreciate it and look forward to doing business with us again in the future.
I was witness to that “something” extra as I was in attendance in Pensacola, Florida where you spoke to the GKIC Chapter. Steve Clark runs the chapter meeting like clockwork with all details checked long before anyone arrives. As I recall, you also did something extra as well, taking time to answer all our questions as long as it took then personally autographing copies of your book. And if I remember correctly, you gave unplanned bonuses that night. All of our businesses benefit from associating with business owners that lead by example.
