Jim, you really nailed something that does have a negative impact on most people. As often as I can, I listen to or read wisdom from people who have successfully developed an “immunity to criticism.” Yes, we want to be open to feedback, but we have to evaluate its validity, as you did so well with this particular individual. Kudos to you for addressing this important topic.

    Hey Jim,
GREAT episode! Never took you for an Osmond fan though ;)
Two things I am thankful for today: your great tip on keeping a good attitude to better serve our clients AND that you didn’t break out in song on the video. I sensed you were close a couple of times. Ha!

Thank you for such an important reminder to not let those bad apples get to you. Too many times we let them control our thoughts. Thankful I found you and other motivators, through the Glazer-Kennedy Insiders Circle.

Love the cloud and sun art in your video, for some reason it reminded me of a retired weather man from 6ABC – Dave Roberts!!

    Happy Easter.

You’re videos are so helpful to a young business owner like myself. I do know that I always tend to focus on that one client who wants to complain, and you’re right – you’ll never make them happy. Thanks!

I have to tell you that this video was so true, and even better you included some killer Osmond video that takes me back. I liked how simple and direct your video was and will recommend it to all my friends.

Thanks Jim for sharing this the way you did – being real. I appreciate what you have shared.

you’re absolutely right Jim. the negative customers can really make you pack it in and lose confidence in the fact that there’s good people out there who love the service you provide. It’s not worth the time or stress to argue with these types. it makes you wonder if they’ve ever had a business anyway. in my own life it was stress that led to cancer. they said it was terminal but I trusted God who delivered me. we have to train our minds and emotions to focus on the good.

I agree with so many of the others its hard not to focus on the criticism given by some because that’s what you don’t want but when you can avoid that and the good door open up. Another great video from you a business master.

  9. Jay Says:

I have had just a blast not just watching this video but all of them and I agree with you so much on how attitude really does play a role in success. Thank You.

  10. Francis Says:

These bad apples will only get you if you know you have done something wrong though. If you know that your products are great and you provide great value to your costumers or subscribers your really shouldn’t worry that much about it. Instead, focus on the people who do like you, because if you are doing it right you’ll get at least a dozen of happy faces with every thunder cloud (let’s stay with your analogy :) ). Besides, remember that the thunder cloud will only get as big as you let it. Set your mind to positive things and it will just be a small mist at an otherwise sunny sky.
