Adversity Brings Opportunity – Part #1

This week I’m back on the lake paddling in my kayak and I’m talking with you about adversity, and how brings opportunity – if you know where to look and how to think! There’s no doubt that entrepreneurs and small business owners face a lot of adversity on a daily basis, but many also prosper and profit because of the adversity. Don’t miss part one this very important episode!

Great video. It can be hard to try to push further in the face of adversity but if you do and then succeed it makes the success that much sweeter.

Loved the concept’Out of adversity comes opportunity’
It may not be that you need to look at things harder so much as maybe from a different point of view or a different perspective.
Every time I try that I always get ideas I wouldn’t have gotten from only seeing the problem as something bad. A different perspective on things can be kind of interesting sometimes.

None of us are immune to adversity. We will all encounter confrontational situations. Yet, how we face them can be quite different. Some become overwhelmed and flustered, others get angry and vindictive. Some avoid any uncomfortable clashes, while others jump right in and thrive on them. Some approach them methodically and calculated, while others react emotionally and impulsively. Adversity can bring out the worst or the best in people. How we deal with challenge is very telling of our personalities and our life skills.

  4. Randall Southern says:

It helps when you have gone through adversity in the past and made it out on better terms because then you have more confidence you can make it through again.
